Course methodology

Flipped Classroom

The methodology chosen for this course consists on assigning the students an amount of tasks and materials to be completed and studied at home, respectively, in order to work in the classroom more efficiently in terms of time, and to facilitate the archiving of objectives. All this with the experience and the help of the teachers.

First, the teacher introduces the topic, then the topic is explained via videos or slides, then the teacher provides the sources of information, and at the same time the tasks and the material are assigned to the student. At this point, the students are expected to be well prepared after had studied at home and completed all the activities to finally reinforce this knowledge with activities in the classroom assigned by the teacher. 

This methodology will make easier the way students get involved in the process of learning by engaging them with the correct amount of responsibility. Not only will be easier for the student, but also for the teacher. They idea is that the management of the time to plan the activities while at the same time the teacher focuses his/her attention on the individual necessities of learning for each student.
